Air Fried Panzanella Salad is a great summer recipe to prepare in just about 15 minutes.
Traditionally, you would prepare it using some stale bread. You would roast it in the oven until crunchy and sprinkle on top of your salad. The air fried version, obviously, is a quicker one. Since the hot air in the Air Fryer moves faster, the bread gets crunchier faster. I season it with garlic and olive oil, as these are the Mediterranean favorite flavors.
The vegetables you add to your Salad can vary depending on your own taste. I added some tomatoes and cherry tomatoes, iceberg and a bit of mozzarella. Lastly, I sprinkled some fresh basil. A lot of recipe add also onions, cucumbers, garlic etc. The list here is endless!
If you are in the mood for more salads, do check out the Air fried Peaches Mozzarella salad and the Air fried Feta Watermelon Salad. You can also opt for the traditional Tomato Feta Salad. I am a big fan of salads, especially for dinner, as they are light and filling. You can see that all my posts involve minimum number of ingredients and simple seasoning.
What should you pair this Air Fried Panzanella Salad with? Well, naturally this salad would go well with a Pesto Chicken or a Stuffed Chicken. Alternatively, if you would like to keep it vegetarian, you can make some Cauliflower Steak or Feta Eggplant. Whatever you go with, I am sure you will enjoy!
