1 Large eggs
100 gr Flour
100 gr Coconut flakes
150 gr Breadcrumbs
1/3 tbsp Cayenne Red Pepper
1 ball Mozzarella Buffalo
For seasoning the Sauce Fresh Coriander

Airfried Onion Rings are a super quick, easy and healthy snack you can cook in your Airfryer.

For this particular recipe, I “stuffed” the onion rings with mozzarella because why not…?

Additionally, I used coconut flakes mixed with the flour for the batter. You could taste the subtle coconut flavor when you bite into them. It does make the Airfried Onion Rings lighter and it crunches nicely.

Another very important point to mention is the usage of no oil whatsoever. This gives you a guilt-free Airfried breaded snack to enjoy! Pair the onion rings with some Air Fried Nachos, Air Fried Pizza Bites, Air Fried Zucchini Chips and Teriyaki Wings. Now you have yourself the Perfect Snack Night!

Preparation time

Cut the onion and separate the rings. Stuff with mozzarella in between each two rings.

Prepare your dipping bowls:
Whip an egg into a bowl.
Mix in a bowl / plate the flour and coconut flakes.
Mix in a bowl / plate the breadcrumbs and cayenne red pepper.

Dip Method: Dip in egg, then flour, then egg, then flour, then breadcrumbs.

Airfryer time

AirFry for 10 minutes at 400 F / 200 C. Serve with the leftover whipped Mozzarella garnished with fresh coriander.
