Air Fried Teriyaki Pork Skewers with pineapple are one of my go-to summer recipes. The combination of pork and pineapple definitely brings up a summer BBQ vibes. In this recipe we are using a teriyaki sauce and sweetening it up with some honey. In addition, the hot sauce brings in that extra kick that some of us love.

What the key stage in this recipe is to marinate the meat and pineapple as long as possible. This will let the juices soak in and make the pork more tender. On another note, I would like to leave here a quick note on the sweetness of this recipe. Since the air frying method caramelizes the pineapple, so in case you do not like it that sweet, you can skip the honey.

What would you pair this delicious Air fried Teriyaki Pork Skewers with? I went with some simple steamed rice, topped with more teriyaki sauce (as it is one of my favorites). You can eat the skewers by themselves, of course, or prepare some Air Fried Corn on the cob to match the BBQ theme. Whatever you choose, the flavors need to be mild so they do not overpower the delicious, sticky, sweet and juicy taste of the skewers.
