Today we are trying out three different ways to make Airfried Wings. My personal favorite is the BBQ one, what’s yours?

Ingredients

  • 9-10 Chicken Wings

  • For the Crunchy ones
  • 1 cup of buttermilk

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 tbsp cayenne red pepper

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • For the BBQ ones
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne red pepper

  • For the Teriyaki ones
  • 1/3 cup Teriyaki sauce

  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

  • 1/2 tbsp cayenne red pepper

How To

  • Marinate the first set of wings in the buttermilk for 5 minutes
  • While they are marinating, prepare the second and third set
  • Pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the second set and mix well
  • Do the same with the Teriyaki mixture over the third set
  • Take the first set of wings out of the buttermilk and roll in the breadcrumbs mixture
  • Cook each batch at 400 F / 200 C for 15 minutes
  • Then flip and cook for extra 15 minutes

Notes

  • If you do not have buttermilk handy, you can use regular milk with a few drops of vinegar and lemon juice

Time to rate the AirFried Wings?

Making Airfried Wings has turned into somewhat a weekly activity for me. It is indeed one of the easiest dishes to cook in your AirFryer and it always comes out juicy, crunchy and full of flavors. I do not think I have ever cooked wings before I got my AirFryer.

Personally, the BBQ Wings turned out the most flavorful and delicious. But it could be also that I am biased, since I usually like to put BBQ sauce on literary everything. Check out also my Airfried BBQ Hot Chicken for an extra spicy piece of chicken.

The Teriyaki Wings had a certain sweetness to them, I would add a bit of fresh ginger next time to bring out the flavors even more. Chicken wings are present in most Asian cuisines and there are some very intriguing recipes to experiment with.

Finally, the Crunchy Wings, were super crunchy and juicy on the inside. Pairing them with some extra Hot Sauce may set the bar even higher. I did a batch few weeks back – Airfried Southern Style Chicken and I do believe that Drumsticks are better for this cooking style.

Air Fried Cranberry sauce Chicken wings ❤🎄🎁

These are super nice for a quick appetizer fix over the holidays.

Don't forget also that you can make your own Cranberry Sauce in the Air Fryer 😍😍😍

Ingredients:
4  oz fresh cranberries
2 tsp sugar

1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp cayenne and paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Wings (I went with 6, you can go up to 12 with the current mix)

A very interesting combination and definitely feels autumn-y 

You will need:
3/4 cup of milk
3 tbsp pumpkin puree
1 cup your choice of macaroni / pasta
1/2 cup cheesed (or more lol)
1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
Salt and Pepper to taste

Air fry 30 mins at 320F/160C and make sure to stir at least twice.

So this is one of my favourite snacks - usually order it from a restaurant, if I see it on the menu 😆

These are basically super delicious breaded cheese sticks from South America.

Got a pack the other day from an Argetinian market and decided to try to air fry it. There were no instructions for AF on the box however after 2 attempts we got it right 🤤

8 minutes at 360F /180C.
Best part again - Zero oil used....

I serve sriracha mayo on side cause it's my favourite. Cheers!

Chop 4-5 figs
Mix with 2.5 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract
Air fry for 15 mins at 320F/160C

Starting the week off with some delicious easy Roasted Garlic in the Airfryer!

Full disclosure - I think it could have been Airfried for a bit longer to get softer...

Below are instructions:
1 garlic head, cut the top off, season with olive oil, salt&pepper. Wrap in alum oil and place in the AF for 15-18 mins at 380F/190C.
After, add the butter in to melt. Air fry for 5-10mins extra.

Mix with 1 tsp parsley, 1/2 cayenne red and dry garlic. Spread over some bread and enjoy! 

Ps. I topped with some fresh thyme

The Main - Teriyaki Pineapple Pork Ribs Skewers, served with some steamed rice.

Not gonna like - these were D-I-V-I-N-E!!!!

For two portions you will need:
8 oz pork ribs
4-5 oz cubes of pineapple
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce, 1 tbsp honey, few drops of hot sauce
Mix, marinate for as long as you want, Air Fry for 18-20 mins at 380F/180C. 
Tip: if you use the racks like I do, the lower level will need a few extra minutes to get cooked! 

Pair with 1 cup of rice - steamed or boiled and some teriyaki sauce, on the side or on top 😍

Another day, Another Eggplant in the Air Fryer 🤪🍆🍆🍆

This time around decided to try out Honey Mustard with it. The tangy flavor works well with the sweet eggplant!

You ll need
1 eggplant
Score and Season with red cayenne, olive oil and garlic powder. Air fry for 15 mins at 380F / 180C. 
In the meantime combine 2 tbsp dijon mustard with 1 tbsp honey and 1 tsp cayenne + garlic powder.
Take the eggplant out, brush with the mixture and back in for 8 mins.
