AirFryer Fail – AirFried Hashbrowns
This Airfryer Fail came to me completely unexpected. Hence I would like to leave a note to myself and all AirFryer-eres out there – a parchment paper under hash browns (or most foods actually) in the AirFryer is a MUST.
The cleaning and scrubbing of potato stuck to the surface afterwards was not fun at all. Obviously, if you soak the basket in soapy water, it helps. However I still prefer not to have to scrub my poor airfryer.
I have obviously learnt my lesson since this airfrying experiment and this Airfryer Fail will remain with me until the end of time.
Below you can see some of the parchment papers I have purchased to ensure my hash browns are never stuck.
Check out my post on Airfryer Hack – Parchment paper. As you can see in the video, in case you run out of proper sized parchment papers, you can always improvise.
One can, on the other hand, also use aluminum foil in your AirFryer. There seemed to be a bit of a debate recently online about this topic since airfryer-ers compare their AirFryer to a microwave. As a result, the common belief was that you would not be able to place aluminum foil inside. I can verify that I have successfully used aluminum foil with no issues so far in the AirFryer.
I hope this was helpful – enjoy and keep your AirFyer On!
